120v to 240v step up

Post by islandamp »

Any downside to using a 120 v to 240 v step up transformer to run a 240 volt Budda in the U.S.? I don't feel like taking apart a brand new amp and messing around if I can just plug and play.

No prob. I just got a 300w step up from Amazon, for an Italian keyboard. Make sure you get one that’s rated for more than your amp’s power draw at max.

Just remember it's another transformer and don't sit it on top of your amps preamp section or reverb pan area if it has such.
