In-circuit testers

Post by twangzilla »

Hey guys,

Any of you guys using in-circuit testers (resistance, capacitance) when troubleshooting amps? If so, what do you recommend? If not, why not?

Thanks!

I recently purchased a blue esr meter to test capacitors. It works great in circuit. If you go to youtube and check out Uncle Doug channel he has a recent demonstration of the meter and explains how it works fine in circuit.

Lol, that's actually where I heard of them, too. Just curious if anyone else has had experience with them.

Thanks!

Build your own... I did and use it regularly:

I bought an assembled blue model a couple years ago.

Seems to work great!
