Gibson Master Service Manual

Post by David Root »

This remarkable book is back on schematicheaven.com, in the Manuals section. It had been there, then suddenly disappeared some time ago. For those not acquainted with it, it covers most, if not all, Gibson amps built between 1934 and 1967 or so, with full schematics and frequently parts lists. 513 pages, 178MB.

Lots of non-Fender style stuff in here, well worth a look to broaden one's knowledge and possibly inspiration too!

I'd get it before Gibson decides to have their lawyers send a nasty letter and it disappears again, just like the "Rumble" schematics that used to be on this website.

Sweet! Thanks...I'll go check that out.

BTW, I e-mailed Lord Valve about those Russian EL84 tubes you mentioned...we'll see what he says.
