Speakers for Peavey Tube Amp/Understanding Ratings

Hi, I have a 70s Peavey "The Classic" 4x10 Tube Amp. I got it for free, with no speakers, and I'm currently replacing a blown cap can on it. The amp is 50W, 4 ohm. What wattage/impedance speakers should I get and how should I wire them. I'm new to tube amps, but I'm really eager to learn all that I can.
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but from what I've gathered so far, because there are 4 speakers, each speaker would need to have 16 Ohms impedance. Would Jensen Mod 10" 35W 16 Ohm speakers work in my amp?

You need four 16 ohm speakers wired in parallel to give a 4 ohm load. The speakers should be rated for at least twice what the amp is rated, so 100 watts total, divided by four speakers, or 25 watts each.

Thank you so much, I've been trying to find some clear answer on the internet to this question for the last hour, you're the first one do do it yet! Following this logic, the Jensen 35 watt 16ohms should be fine for the job then, right?

Yes, because you'll get 140 watts power handling with four 35-watt speakers in parallel, and a 4-ohm load.
