some eye candy
I took this picture today - a customer of mine ordered a 2x10 version of my 20W cathode biased Milkman amp and I paired it with my custom made Creston telecaster.

Can't read the dashboard. Is it like cathode biased PR?

Re: some eye candy
yeah - its a cathode biased Princeton type circuit, but with a few tweaks to the circuit to make it more woody sounding
this one has NOS Rca preamp tubes (V1 is a Tung Sol 12AX7A with the halo getter) and RCA 5881 on the output.

Beautiful pair!
Faceplate looks great like they all do. Makes me want chocolate milk.

Tell us about the pickups on the Tele. Those look like P-90's.
EDIT: Just found the website. Are those the Jason Lollar soap bars?

Re: some eye candy
yeah - they are Lollars.
Its really a great sound with the telecaster - snappy like a tele, but with a little more depth and grit.
I have had a P90 in the neck position of my Fender tele for years - that is my go to for most of my guitar work. That configuration, with a little tremolo and reverb is *the* ideal sound for Americana in my opinion, which is mostly what I play.
I also have a Lollar P90 on an old Gibson lap steel. Now that thing can get gnarly!

It's hand painted by an artist in Vermont named Sarah Ryan. I should post a pic of the back of the guitar too. It's gorgeous.

I have an old SG with P90s, and I agree, the neck position is tone heaven.Milkmansound wrote:yeah - they are Lollars.

I can only imagine the Tele body helps that type of tone.
Nice pair, btw nice photo. Do you do all you own photography ?
