Guys, need some help here. Recently finished a 5E3 clone: sounds sweet! That is, until it gets really warmed up and you start to turn it up. Hit a power chord and it distorts, sounding like static and something inside is busted... Tried swapping tubes from a known good 5E3 and get the same thing. Traced out all the wiring; everything looks good. Any ideas would be appreciated...!

Could be a cold solder joint somewhere, maybe on a ground. Reflow any solder joints that look questionable.
