vox night train PI

what is the purpose of the CC to the 470k grid leak, then another CC to the MV?

Is this to break up the 470k and MV so the AC load is still 470k instead of 470k || to the MV?

Its a bass -3dB roll-off, and IIRC, its calculated by:

f = 1/[2πCR], where

f is the desired -3dB roll-off frequency
R is the resistance (which, if you're gonna get a useful answer out of it, really needs to be the value of the resistor plus the output impedance from the driving stage)
C is the capacitor value
2π is 44/7
