Hi guys,
I'm considering designing (and building in future) small power amp for home practising and recording, power section will be probably SE 6L6 since I've got 2 6P3S-E laying around. But the preamp is still a mystery, so I would like to know what would be an ultimate home amp for you ? What features would you like to have. I think of:
-good clean
-FX loop - serial, not sure if switchable would be a need.
-Line out to plug into mix
-on-board +9 power supply for pedals
-reverb would be nice, but I want keep costs low
I would like to keep it simple and design PCB for preamp. Any suggestions ?
