i've heard about the fake hakkos floating on ebay

anyhow if there's members owning such a station willing to spend a few minutes checking if these ones look ok

You can't get em in France ( 220 v) plus shipping's free, furthermore, the 937's ( digital ) only 10 more bucks from the same dealer, finally, these are listed as new, not used...
All in all doesn't sounds like a bad deal to me... If it's a genuine hakko.

Find me a better deal, i'll buy it...

The 936 is a workhorse and I have two of them. Well worth getting one if you can afford them.

The 936 has been discontinued but you may be able to find one on surplus type sites.
It was replaced by the FX-888.

At first glance the FX-888 may look cheap with the bright blue and yellow colors but it is a quality unit and performs well.

I bought one several months ago and it has performed flawlessly.

$80.72 free shipping.
