are there any dpdt or even spst style relays on the market that i could power using my filament supply?
Thanks

Re: available 6v dpdt relays?
In the past I have used an Omron G5V-2-DC6 when powering from 6.3V filament taps. Unreguated you should get around 8.8-9.2VDC and when the coil is activated the voltage at the coil will drop.

look at the sub miniature relays.
those come in 3 and 5v versions regularly.

I'm reducing my price on these SPDT to .79ea
Also have the Omron and NAIS/Aromat DPDT at $1.50ea

To figure out what you need or want it's a good idea to take a tour through the Mouser catalog. I just got done figuring out an equivalent relay for a switching relay in a Peavey Valve king. It was a bit of work but I learned quite a bit about these things. Coil resistance, voltage, footprint, hold voltage, release voltage and so on. Prolly need a diode bridge there too.
If you believe in coincidence you're not looking close enough-Joe leaphorn
