Fishman

Post by C Moore »

A friend emailed me.....says he has a Fishman Loudbox, and it quit working after he plugged his Telecaster into it.
I told him to bring it by and I will take a look.
This is a bit premature, as I do not have the amp yet, and do not know which model it is exactly.....but, are there schematics available for these things.?
Is a product like this most likely something you would have to contact the company, to try and get a schematic.?
I am just learning about tube electronics. I have very little experience with Solid State. But I told my friend I would take a shot at it.
I do not even have the thing yet and I am already asking for help.....
Thanks

Hi, as to schematics, I would contact Fishman. The Loudbox from what I read of the description is a 130 watts (so bet on it being transistors), tri-amplified design with separate speakers for Treble, Mids, and Bass acoustic amp. I omitted all the superlatives in their website. Probably a PCB, too. :(

I guess you might get some cooperation as from what I read some if not all of the Loudbox have been discontinued.

Best Regards,

Steve

Thanks Steve.....
It does seem easier to get schems on "out of production" amps.
