changing the impedance on a tone stack

Post by andrew »

What changes should be made to use this tonestack after a 12ax7?
Thanks for any help. https://tubeamparchive.com/download/file.php?id=8365

none, it's already a high Z one but you'll get less gain with just one side of a 12AX7

Anyway, you have to add a 12ax7, so two triodes, so you can just put the baxandall equalizator in between the two, with the 2nd one feeding the PI.

I want to try this design but with a different tonestack. I'll try the bandaxall and a Hiwatt tonestack also. Thanks for the advice guys.
