Old chassis builder

Post by vintagedream »

New to this forum, I am a retired electronics tech., now building tube amplifier chassis. I started with vacuum tubes and watched them give way to transistors, ic's, and eventually mass produced throw-away electronics. Looking forward to reading your posts and seeing what builders are up to these days.

Greetings vintagedream!

I just happen to have a Princeton and Bassman chassis (unpunched aluminum) made by you sitting on the shelf next to me ..... waiting to become amps. I praise your meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Welcome :D

If you're like me those builds are all your children, it's not hoarding if they're your children.

I, too, can vouch for Terry's work. I have used his chassis', in a few builds. And, plan to take advantage of his skills as often as I can.

Hi Terry,

Your chassis look very nice. Do you offer a complete chassis solution such as hole cutting and finishing to specification? If so, is this performed on a CNC, water, or laser cutter?
