Simms Watts is one of those legendary names of amplifiers from the '90's. What's the story of this company. Their name echoes on the Internet. Lots of pictures around. But what about the company history. Who owned it. Any schematics around? Other information?

I'm pretty sure they stopped production by the Mid to late 70's. The simms watts 100 was the amp most noticed they also made a PA head.

They have a following in country music. Very clean until pushed wide open then they break up with the British grit.

Anything else you want to know? I own a couple mid 70's 100 heads.

Pinkfloyd used them on a tour. I want to say etwhistle used them at one point? I believe I remember seeing him on a flyer. Willy nelson's backup guitarist used one.
