Dinrail mountable nine pin socket

Post by Decko »

Hi,

Where can I find a nine pine socket that is dinrail mountable for 12AX7's?

The picture below is an octal that I picked up at Fry's Electronics.

9 Pin Din Socket

Post by Bob S »

A while ago I trolled the net without success for these.
Thought about making my own - maybe start with an 11 pin DIN socket & modify.
If you find a source, I'd be interested.
Good Luck.

The 8 pin and 11 pin bases are very commonly used in industry for mounting relays. There's no equivalent 9 pin because it's not a pin format used by current industrial devices.

Ok, I see. I will look at the 11 pin first.

Thanks,

Tubes and more sells a 9pin socket mounted to a turret board that would the closest. You could easily modify it to terminal strips. Mount the board then connect jumpers from a terminal to the turrets. use the unused terminal strips fro prototyping.
