Power Tranformer Pinout

Post by zzallin »

Is there a standard pinout for this kind of transformer?. It came from a Dynamic Instruments dc-amplifier. It is marked:
DIC1391A
PA 574
CX9
Pins 16 and 17 are marked sh1 and sh2.
18 is ground.
Is this an appropriate trans for a 5E3 circuit?
Thanks,
Zack

That's not standard RETMA nomenclature. Do you have any idea of what the connections do or where they go to or do you have any way of figuring them out? Unless you do, it looks like a paperweight or a doorstop.

It looks vaguely military.

You can start with your ohm meter to see which pins have continuity. Lot's of terminals mean lots of possible combinations. This one could take quite a while to figure out.
