5E3 Effects Loop

Post by CHIP »

Has anyone installed an effects loop in a Tweed Deluxe (5E3)?
I would like to put one in my clone, but haven't had any luck searching the net.

What do you want to achieve with the effect loop?

Since 5e3 distortion is mainly in the poweramp, there sound would be pretty much the same as when using effects before the amp.

Are you wanting a passive or active effects loop?

What pedals do you plan to use in the effects loop?

I have a rack mounted Lexicon multi-effects unit and would like to loop it into the amp, basically for some reverb and a liittle delay.

Passive loop, because I thought I could use my Dumblelator clone.

I honestly don't know how well it would work, but IF I were going to attempt this, here is how I would try it.

Thanks for your suggestion. I may give it a try.
I thought it would be something like your schem.
