Faceplate design

Post by paisley_tele »

Are there any guys here that are good with adobe illustrator to design faceplates? I can have a local trophy shop make one for me for cheap if I have it designed so all he has to do I run the file.

If you have some other software that can you can use to "draw" the faceplate, it can be printed directly to a PDF file using free software called PDF 995. You could design the face plate in Excel for example, and then print the drawing to a PDF file.

http://www.pdf995.com/

I use the licensed version at work all the time. PDF995 shows up as a printer option. So instead of selecting your usual paper printer, simply choose PDF995 and then print as usual and your document will be printed directly to a PDF file.

Hope this helps.
