Route 66 tone stack

Hi, Would a Route 66 tonestack work well with a 6sl7 tube? I've been using it with a 6sj7 and I want to try something different. Thanks.

I found this http://www.lynx.bc.ca/~jc/720606_YBA2_AB.gif The tonestack is similar to the RT66.
I usually see the tonestack between the two triodes but on the Traynor it is after the second triode. Does it make a difference?
