ac 30 power section variations

I have seen a few versions of the ac 30 power amp and I was wondering how changing the grid resistor values from 7.5k to 1.5k and changing the screen resistors from 100 ohm to 1k affects the tone. For example I'm building a two channel ac 30/4 with a tweed champ channel and I'm trying to optimize the power amp for both pre's. Currently I'm using Toneslut express experimenters iron. With the 1.5k grids and 1k screens the pentode channel has no sparkle. Any ideas
