What no one is building any pedals or want to share a photo of their home built pedal or pedal boards?

My board changes quite often for some reason

Mark I use a Blues Driver as my main pedal. I always found the stock circuit to be very "80's" sounding but I've got a nice few mods I developed that I think make it much more usable. I guess the initial problem is that this pedal has a TMB tonestack with some pretty extreme values (i.e. bass CRANKED, mids scooped). Here's a link to my completely ignored post over at diystompboxes. I swear this pedals sounds much better after tweaking the tonestack though!

My "board" (actually a Road Runner soft case) has settled on general-purpose, hack-of-all-trades line-up: Line 6 G50 wireless (awesome, low-noise, near-zero latency), Dunlop combo volume/wah/boost, Fulltone OCD distortion (flat tone curve and fairly transparent), Line 6 M9 multiFX for everything else.

I'm picky about noise and transparency, and this rig meets my expectations. Very low noise, very flexible, and lightweight.

I have one Boss 9v adapter powering everything but the M9, and strangely, it's far less noisy than the One Spot I had been using, which introduced a little whine. I often think about investing in a Voodoo or other isolated power supply, but it would be larger and heavier than needed, and I'd STILL need the damn 9vac adapter for the M9.

Wow! You know how to paint!

How do you do those graphics? (Airbrush?)

Excellent work IMHO.

Man, if those pedals sound half as good as they look, they're awesome!

I really enjoy building pedals but the overall end result usually disappoints me.

Here is an elaberate Fuzz Pedal I built several years ago.
It was supposed to be the ultimate fuzz pedal or Super Fuzz if you will.
It utilized silicon and germanium transistors.

It was alright sounding but not the best fuzz I've played.

I ended up scrapping it and used the parts on other things.

I use artists acrylics with, for the most part, an airbrush in conjunction with frisket film for stencils, masking tapes and lots of intercolour clearcoats. But also lots of toothbrush splatter (helps to hide the dusts that settles from my less then pristine shop air), natural sponge poncing and paintbrush touchups. Of late very little airbrush other then clearcoating and everything under the sun for applying paint and selectively removing, more along the lines of the Bazz Fuss.

For the Echo Base in particular, a lettering stencil (among others) was cut from frisket film, the cutouts saved. Applied the stencil to the enclosure then clearcoat to seal the stencil edges and prevent bleeding of colours under the stencil edges. Paint the letters in, airbrush plus toothbrush but resorted to paintbrush to get the fade as i'm a fumbling-along beginner with much to learn and couldn't get the airbrush to do what i wanted.

To do the drop shadow- removed the stencil (save) and placed the saved letter cutouts over the lettering, clearcoated. Replace stencil but offset slightly, clearcoat. Spray transparent black very lightly. Remove all the frisket film, touchup with paintbrush where necessary.

The Echo Base function labeling was done with laserjet waterslide decals but for all the other pedals and 'am currently using a "wet" toner transfer method which just uses a mirrored laserjet print on regular paper with an acrylic medium to adhere the printout to the enclosure. Allowed to dry then rewet and in stages, rubbed off with your fingers. Really pleased with how that is working out. For the RCOMP tried three times to do a full face decal and i screwed it up everytime. The toner transfer worked the first time and i'm not going back. The Bazz Fuss enclosure was my toner transfer experiment, (have yet to build and install the circuit...) Have also played with toner transfer for "silkscreen" labeling on pcbs and on the back of clear acrylic with pretty decent results.
