Hmmm, Interesting that it is the same scheme that has been kicking around for a while and has Mensur as the author in 2012...

Thanks for the clarification and your investigative work! Curious, have you built / verified an amp from the scheme? Thanks again.

I see an error in the schematic--look at the bias circuit. :)

Yep, the bias supply is taken from C9, not C7.

Yet another reason why amp manufactures have a difficult time making money..
You could spend quite a bit of your valuable time researching, tweaking and coming up with a unique design or modification that has it's place and does exactly what it's intended to do.. There might even be some well deserved hype that surrounds it..Then someone goes and posts it on TGP, or where ever and instantly millions have access to it,so all those hours spent coming up with those great designs or mods are flushed right down the can!!..If you goop it then you catch all kinds of hell for it..I blame the internet..Although I do agree there is no excuse for this blatant disregard for personal property!!..WOW!

Yup. That's why my version of the high gain amp will never see the light of day. It took me decades to come up with the circuit--why should I give it away for the "cereal toners" of the world to copy and profit?

I'm so glad you explained that. I thought it was an additional mod to change the caps to brown turds!
This sort of thing is a real head shaker for me. It is incomprehensible to me that someone would deface a customer's amp like that and expect to retain the customer.

My all time favorite of epoxy stories is this one: http://timeelect.com/hackmarshall.htm This is a hidden page that you have to know is there. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see what looks to my eye to be a meticulous restoration. Also, I think the last line of text rings very true.

oh cm'on ...here we go again ....such a tired up debate .... said on a dumble clone forum it looses it's impact dude ...besides , do you see friedman marsha layouts popping up that often on the net ...yeah maybe he screwed up a little less people ? Maybe you can actually BUY his products on the spot , and be assured you'll be delivered his products ...Don't lecture me about ethics please , i've been ripped off too many times to count ( not in the amplifier field though , but i know the feeling quite well ) ....
