+1 for inexpensive tile saw. No dust, but messy water. Good cuts, easy to keep straight, blade lasts a long time.

I use my power miter saw with a mini dust collection system, outdoors with mask and glasses. I ordered a 4'X4" (I think) piece from McMasters Carr to get started. I should get 4 out of it as I'm doing smaller tube counts ala AX84 and Tone per Buck Club from Wattkins to start.
Thankfully I inherited my Dad's 1940s big drill press when he passed away. The right tool for the job!
It's a guitar amplifier. How hard can it be?

I found a closeout deal on a bunch of 1/16 and picked up 50 pounds of the stuff for next to nothing. I had a friend cut it int0 3 inch strips with his shear.
I cut it to length with my band saw.
