Ampwares problems

Post by Colossal »

This is kind of a bummer for a second post to Ampgarage, but I also made the mistake of ordering [grounding lugs and a couple of fuses] from Ampwares back in May to the tune of about $20. I have had the exact same outcome as 'Guns and others here: voicemail box full, rejected emails, nothing in the mail box. I called them one final time this morning to find that their main number has been disconnected so this may be confirmation that this Mark fellow has pulled the plug. I've filed a complaint with the PA attorney general's office; we'll see where that goes, if anywhere.

So, I'm out my $20, about 2 months of waiting, and I still don't have any grounding lugs. I think DrHulsey and Ron Worley were lucky to get their orders filled! According to Ron, the Keystone lugs at Mouser (P/N 534-914) are a quarter inch shy of working with Clarostat pots so if anyone has any other suggestions, I would value hearing you.

Hopefully, either the Law or Karma (or both) will catch up with this guy. I wish I could mail him a grenade for stealing from me.

Thanks,
Colossal

p.s. I will be starting a TWE when I complete my 6V6 Plexi!

I did eventually get my parts as well...Its a shame ..Hes got a good selection on parts etc. We should chip in and buy it and resurrect it and its bad service....actually we could probably get it on forclosure pretty soon if their business ethics havent changed....
