or is there a 9 pin 6v6 could be adapted ?

i really think 6v6s sound sweeter

Bill last I knew their isn't. Since their isn't it would be way to overwhelming to mod it for that.

A dood on a jet city facebook page has done it.
He used adapters.

Simply put two linear pots in for the two resistors and tune to your liking.

Interesting I didn't know they made those. Im thinking it would work really well with the 370 on the el84 plates. Whats the output transformers impedance? Probably 8k. Wish I tried that when I had mine as that would have been a much better solution than trying to rework the PI. I ended up giving up and selling it
