Mark - There is no chassis opening. It's a 2x12 speaker cabinet. Am I missing something?

Sounds like a great deal to me. I'll let you know when I get it. Thanks guys.
That sounds like a great deal alright.
I built my own, but for that price it's not worth the time and money I put into it.

I'm also interested to see what you think vk.
Cabguy's work looks nice, but owner testimonial
is the best.

I have not received the cab. :( I exchanged emails and spoke with the Cabguy once on the phone. He said he was gonna build the cab and I was going to pay via Paypal. That was about one month ago. I have sent him email, but he has not responded. So I guess the cab is in limbo for some reason. Not sure what to make of it.

I know this sort of thing can be frustrating, but don't worry. John (Cab Guy) gets backed up with orders sometimes, and isn't always the best at contacting you about it. But he won't rip you off. Just keep trying to reach him, and you'll eventually get him and your cab.

The post yesterday prompted me to send another email to John. He responded today. We have resolved a small misunderstanding - when the payment should be made - and we are back on track. I'll keep you posted.

Here's an update. I received the cab about one month ago. Very good quality materials and workmanship. Handle, speaker jack, tolex and grill very well done. Pine sides and back. Absolutely a well built cab and built to the Dumble spec drawing here on TAG. I loaded it with G12-65s and have been using it with a D-style 183 type, an Express, and a Tweed Deluxe. I love it. This is a very good cabinet and I recommend John highly. Now I need to place another order before he gets flooded and decides to raise the price. :P

Can you post a picture of your cab?

That sounds exactly what I want to have built.

I am glad it worked out for you. John does really nice work for very good prices. He is a little ditzy at times (some of us refer to him as stoner boy behind his back), but the products and prices are worth it.

By the way, I did get a 2x12 from Anthony at Stage Craft, and much like the 1x12 I already had, it totally kills!
