It sounds like you have something special! Might indeed make an interesting AC15. An AC 15 with Partridge iron, big balls with a little sag!

Carry on. :D
?? hmm.. what does that mean :? :D

Anyway, The PT is in no useable condition. It has rusted very badly(I added picks on the original link). But the OT seems to be as good as new but there is no label or marknings what brand they might be.

The main amp section has no top cover on it (+ the PCB's copper traces are felling off from the PCB) it is not to be fixed as it has been as new. So I will make this to some kind of a guitar amp. Any suggestions for the PT (Hammond) and for the amp itself ? What can be made out of this kind of OT ?

I've used iron from as far back as WWII (went in my first build). It was an old Stancor unit that I did some very minimal cleaning on before firing it up.

If the windings are intact I always test first with a low current function generator, then slowly bring things up on a variac. If everything looks good there then I put the transformer in circuit and flip the power switch with a low current fuse (no tubes installed!). If all is well there, I take the plunge and fire the amp up full tilt (assuming voltages and such check out alright unloaded).

I agree with Tom. Restore that baby back to it's glory. Those tube Hi-Fi amps sound excellent.

The PT coil wire has no covering material (lacquer). The copper traces fall from the pcb. The main amp section lacks the covering...
