Thats an interesting point about the relative DCR in the OPT, to the G2 v and ma..
It may be a factor worth looking as a design consideration while choosing
plate load.

I built a wreck type amp useing a fender amp. I started out using the wreck values in the power section.
Then tried the fender values, and to me, it sounded and responded better. The dropping resistors will also have an effect on the screen voltage.
Just for kicks you might try it. Try like 8.2k in place of the 18k 4.7k in place of the 9.1k.. and 1k for the last 9.1k
