Hey guys my name is chris. I have a 84 jcm800 combo ( running througha 4x12 ) 50 watt reverd, that I want to Mod to sound more like a trainwreck ( more like the express ) Any ideas for this guys?

Those reverb models have diode clipping and the entire circuit is very very different from a regular 800 or any tube amp for that matter. theres a lot you could do to alter, but i think barring a total rebuild with a turret board and a TW design you're not going to be able to do much aside from improve whats already there.

You would trash a 25 yo amp in the process. Start a new build or sell it.
