I didn't read all the way through your other thread, so this may have been suggested already, so please bear with me... Have you tried just getting Mesa's Tech Support on the phone and asking them directly?jads57 wrote:Sorry to beat a dead horse fellas. I haven't done that yet, mainly because they are into marketing their own tubes which I'm not to crazy about. But , that's a good idea that I hadn't thought of!
Re: Mesa Power Tube ? Again!
If you use a Mesa Boogie, it is not smart to use anything but their tubes. They cover damage as a result of tube failures, which are not unusual in some models and can be extremely expensive to fix owing to the type of designs they use and the cost of parts if a board is burned or transformer needs replacing.

Give them a call i bug them all the time.
Without being able to bias the amp why take a chance just buy the boogie tubes after all it is the mesa boogie sound. if you don't like the tone get a more user adjustable amp.
If your boogie has a bias pot then use any matched set of output tubes and just rebias!
I know what your thinking, and the answer is no! they will not sell you a schematic to mod a boogie current or out of date.
best of luck!
