THD Bivalve

Post by Wayne »

Once again, I'm relying on the experience of the group to save me (actually, this time, a friend) from a hard lesson

A friend of mine is sitting on the fence about picking up a used THD Bivalve. He asked me what I thought, and I had no idea having never seen one before.

Have any of you ever met one? Any bad experiences with one?

Actually, IIRC, doesn't someone here make something similar?

very cool amp! if i'm not mistaken it's self bias'n so you can plug and play the wattage is baised on the tubes you use and they make a pretty sweet studio amp lots of tone and voices It's perfect to get your feet wet if you aren't sure what tone you want or aren't familiar with how tubes shape your sound.

Look them up and make sure your getting a good deal and hopefully a few extra tubes and if the numbers line up go for it!
