You can have a feedback presence control in single ended amp. Same principle as in P-P.

I don't know what Cornell does. Depends on what you mean by the term, sharp edge on your teeth will improve your ability to bite through tough leather. But "edge control improves bite in your tone" really doesn't tell me anything. It could just as well be boosting a narrow band around 1500Hz.

If I get my hands on one of these I can measure what it does, otherwise it's all just wild guessing. What I might call "edge & bite" isn't necessarily same thing.

Point in case. What do these knobs do? Besides the obvious fact that they go to eleven...and a half

It's so easy
more (gain) & (tone) = louder (volume)



BTW - interesting "edge" control I saw in Hot Kot,
rude guess maybe in 7 is similar - 'coz 7 is 4-stager too ...

And - I don't know WHY toroids in this and many more
other are flipped ?
In my amps cables go down to hole in chassis - not
up and down?
Am I missing something?
