Relay Schematic Question

Post by ryanf »

I'm planning on doing a dual eq ODS, so I will need two relays to be activated by one switch. Here is the original thread where I got this from https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.ph ... atic+panel

Does this look like it would work?

Since I have two relays being activated by one switch, will there be enough current to swich them?

The part number you specified for relays is the 5V version. You want the 212D for 12V. For the 12V, Mouser says 60ma coil current, so 120mA for two relays. Shouldn't be a problem with a 500mA transformer. The problem I see is the LED's. Most LED's don't want to see more than 20mA. Change the 100 ohm resistors to 15 ohms and add 47 ohms or so in series with the LED's. Adjust the 47 ohm to control brightness.
