The best way to go about illuminating your faceplate...?

Post by dehughes »

Hello all,

I'm looking to illuminate the logo on my new amp's faceplate (a la Matchless...), and am wondering what type of bulb and mount works best inside a chassis. I'm assuming some sort of 6.3v bulb and mount that can be attached to the chassis and wired in series with the pilot light, yes? Any particular ones or sources that work best?

I'm also considering illuminating the logo on the cabinet as well, so suggestions for a bulb that would be mounted to the cabinet and wired into the chassis are much appreciated as well.

Thanks!
