Break that new speaker in for like 8 hours
With some low voltage 60 hz ac like from a wall wart.

Do you have a veriac to use ?
When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming like the passengers in his car!

Cutting out a man's tongue does not mean he’s a liar, but it does show that you fear the truth he might speak about you!

Hello --

Reading quickly through your circuit description it seems all of your interstage coupling capacitors are 0.01uF, which is reasonable for a guitar amp where 80Hz is an adequate frequency to begin reducing signal. For hifi tube amp designs it's typical to use 0.1uF or at the very least 0.05uf. Frustrating to change out but believe you will get closer to the bass performance you aspire to. The description is unclear on the nature of your output transformers. Should these be too small that could also be limiting your low end.

Best ..
