Two Rock Shielded wire

Post by Guy77 »

Does anyone what type of shielded wire they are using here?
This looks like a great wire to work with. This is the Bloomfield Drive that I had on my bench several years ago.

It has the shielded wire that can easily be worked with in order to wrap around a pots lug or buss wire without making a mess.

The individual strands are strong and do not break apart easily like RG174 and are much easier to work with than the shielded wires that have the shield forming a tight net than cannot be easily separated.
Pic attached.

Thanks
Guy

I've never had a problem with braided shield. I use a dental pick to unweave the strands, then twist them.

Sluckey recently recommended the shielded wire RG-316 to me on this forum recently. I am loving it so far.
