I just got my latest Stewart MacDonald catalog and they are showing an eyelet setting tool and eyelets. The eyelets they are selling are .073 inches. I measured the ones I have been using and they are a little over 0.10 inches, so I am not sure if these eyelets are the right size for amp work. Just wondered what size eyelets others are using.

I've always used #45 from Keystone with 1/8th in thick boards....

Those eyelets are really for pickups. I think they are going to be too small for amplifier work - you'll want something more like 1/8" diameter.

I think you are right. I looked at the Keystone stuff and it looked better for amp work.statorvane wrote:Those eyelets are really for pickups. I think they are going to be too small for amplifier work - you'll want something more like 1/8" diameter.
