The reverb output of that Imperial looks to be permanently mixed into the signal path, it’s only the inputs to the reverb driver that get disconnected by the switch.

I don't understand this. I saw one schematic directly switching the input to the reverb tank to ground but I'm not sure how the reverb transformer handles that?

I am also surprised that a subjet as obviously "of wide interest" as "how to put a reverb in a 5E3" still did not get more than finely spreaded information... :?
(yet I can understand the reasons for that - given that some builders make part of their business out of it)

Whoops, my memory of how that worked didn't match reality. I guess I don't understand why you couldn't switch the whole thing out. I'm probably missing something obvious...

it's near I take for the experiment....
If I down the mix resistor I get better resouls.... I amb going to try DWELL POT!
