Hey guys. I drew up this draft schematic and had some questions;
1. Should I run high gain output to the grid of the first gain stage on the clean/od channel, or run it to the high or low input jack?
2. Can the E node be shared by the first two gain stages or is there a better way to do this? Are there drawbacks to the current way it is set up?
Any suggestions or notice any problems? Thanks

Re: High gain 18 watt questions
1/ By running it to the grid, do you mean to still have the other inputs, in parallel with it?
2/ I think the E node looks fine, there’s not much low freq gain between the stages.

Thanks for your reply
Yes that was my question but by thinking about it, it seems to make sense to run it to the input jack anyways.
Can you explain how that works for your answer on the E node? I don’t understand

Re: High gain 18 watt questions
I would try and keep no more then 2 gain stages on any one filter node, especially if there will be high gains involved.
