Post by dcribbs1412 »

Every time I get talked into sending away this style build,
I end up missing it a building another. Latest project

Thanks guys
not too much credit on my end
paint by numbers build using C3 amps boards and chassis
Rob is a good guy and slocloneforum guys did all the ground work.(I believe Mike himself helped also)
The more I play it the more I like it, very versatile.
I understand why many consider this a classic American circuit.

Very beautiful amp. I really like the snake skin I'll be honest, I think it looks super 90s metal. Did you use the Onetics transformers? I'm pretty excited about the turret board build of one of these. And yes I agree, the time I spent with one of these definitely elevated it to 'classic' status in my mind.

This looks awesome. SUper tidy work, too. I agree the snakeskin is perfect for this type of amp. That or purple.

Using Magnetic Comp iron( just cant justify 500.00 for Onetics)
