Site maintenance and downtime tomorrow at 10pm PST
The site will undergo the final migration to phpBB3 tomorrow evening at 10pm PST. It will take about an hour or two, and during that time the forums will be offline. When back it will be under the new code.
Hopefully this, and other changes we've been making will get the site de-listed from the malware blacklists.

Yup I got the announcement via email last night. Now let's hope it sticks

Thanks Phil, great work.
Here the same, with Safari actually no Google Alert.
But in the Safari preferences there is a note: The Google Save Browsing Service since two days is not available. No Updates.
Maybe that’s the reason?

Thank you! Is there any plan to restore our signatures capabilities as well?

I believe the signature code protection is much better on this version, I'll ask Allyn if he's okay with us re-enabling.

The new site looks great. Is there a way I can opt to open a thread and be taken to the first new post instead of the top of the page?

Are you referring to the three stripes feature at the top:

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

No, that gives me a list of threads in which there *are* new posts. What I was asking was whether there is a setting I can select which will take me directly *to* the new post when I open the thread, as opposed to having to scroll down to it. Some forums I read do this (e.g., audiokarma), others don't (hoffman).

Hmm, not sure, it seems like this thread implies this is doable, but I don't see what they're talking about:
