So you like Mylar film? One of the articles (I think, can't remember for sure) trashed Mylar.

And what were they trying to sell? Usually that kind of review comes from someone trying to flog their own whatever. Hey it's the internet, everybody has a friend for a minute then not, and nobody knows you're a dog.

Exactly. And that's what makes it so frustrating to learn ANYTHING related to tubes. I finally resorted to doing a lot of experiments to find out what the truth is, if there is one. Its expensive, but apparently the only sure-fire method to find out what's what. Corroboration is nice, but even that isn't foolproof as there is also a lot of the blind leading the blind. The Amp Garage is a refreshing change from all that nonsense.
