.05 600VDC Capacitor source

Post by Jerry2013 »

The only ones I can find are the Jupiters, and they are a littel rich for my pocketbook.
Does anyone knw of a source for a good Axial .05 600VDC ( I've found Sprague Vishay makes a .05 600VDC, but its radial), or a good economical substitute?

It will be much easyer to find a .047 @ 600, or 630 volts than the .05 and make no difference in tone of frequency control.

These .047uF/630V polyester caps have a great reputation and are widely used: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Cor ... C%252b4%3d

I like these in Dumble style builds:

The .05uf is 630v, but that shouldn't matter.
