Messages don't leave outbox

I didn't know how to contact the administrator, so I'm asking this here. Some messages seem to get stuck in the outbox or take a long time to go out of the outbox and actually get sent. I have one message that has been in the outbox for days. How do I get my PMs to actually get sent instead of just staying in the outbox?

I may be wrong, but think they leave your outbox (and into sent box) when the intended recipient reads them.
