Need Ashdown little b*stard 30 schematic

Post by amryan »

Hi guys,

I quiet new here so I'm sorry if I do some request in here. I've been looking for a small wattage bass amp head for my studio and I came across with ashdown little b*stard 30. the review is so good and sounds great. Since the price is too high so I tried to find the schematic for build the amp head. But I couldn't find any. So if one of you have the schematic of ashdown lb 30, it will help me a lot.

Thank you,
Amri

Welcome to the wonderful world of "stuff they don't release schematics for".

Just another reason for the manufacturer not to release the schematic.

Id like it too.

Even if we had it - we couldnt give it to you.

Violation of TAG to post schematics from in production models.

Buy one. Draw it out. Photograph it. Sell it. Your own ethics dictate what you do with the info. If the vendor wants it secret, we won't help violate that.

And I will ad a little bit to that. Its not that we dont want to help . But they put time effert and education into developing the amp then try to sell it , There are people here make a living selling there amps and they will tell you.
Profit is very small for these companies most are just keeping there head above water.
We could be like metro amp and bust are ass figuring out the GNR #34 and #39 specs just to see this amp come up ripped off by a major manufacturer and others .

Sooner or later "Murder will out, as we see day by day." Information can rarely be kept secret forever, especially in this day and age of the internet. Call it the Snowden effect: If at all interesting, information will find its way to the maximum number of users in an impossibly short time, no matter how hard people try to keep it secret.

And all schematics leak out sooner or later if enough people want them. IIRC at some point a few years ago there was a major leak of Bugera schematics on another site, from some dude in a Balkan country. Serbia maybe.

That blew the lid off that game. Of course you may have to wait several years.

Guess I can't blame them for not wanting they're amp copied but its not like they invented something.I'm sure there's nothing in there that ain't been done before

yep - this is simple stuff - but you still need to know where the cupcake is to top it with a cherry.

There's tons of schematics already out in the wild on tube bass amps... Why not one of those?
If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

GC has one for $781! It's $850 almost everywhere else. I doubt you can build one for much less than that. When you said it was too expensive, I was thinking many thousands of dollars. You'd be better off begging grandma to front you some cash.

I found that an ac30 into a proper cabinet is a fantastic bass amp. Prob very similar to the little b@stard

I wonder how efficient a <30w amp would be for bass.

We're used to seeing large wattage bass amps.

Say the guitarist is playing through a 100w Marshall.

Most bass players will have 300-400w amp to keep up.

Or is this for a studio situation?

Don't let that smoke out!
