AMPEG AC-12

Post by Junkin8ez »

Hey Guys, I just picked this at a yard sale. Not much info on the web about the amp itself. I assume it's due to the fact it is an accordion amp.Any idea of rarity or desirability? Any Polka Bands out there that can't live without one??
Thoughts Leo Nardo??

I had a Ampeg solid state 100w head years ago and the control plate was like that, just a few more knobs.
It's like an etched pcb board and they shine a light into it somewhere and the lines on the front glow a soft blue.

I think that's a tube one, oddballs though (well not that odd 7591s, 12DW7s). Keeper, tho.

From what I heard, removing the negative feedback makes it the guitar version. Nice score!
If it won't kill me by taking it into the bathtub, I don't want anything to do with it!

It has great tone as is. Oddly Better tone & volume on the accordion side.
