thinking of trying another build... princeton conversion

Post by Icetech »

Hi guys, havn't been around much.. still using the first bassman/normster layout amp i made bout a year ago or so (although the clean channel is never clean enoug, oh well)

Anyway, getting the itch to try something else... have a old princeton reverb that i have used as a mule for trying layouts for years, appears stock PR, but has a 12" we**er alinco (which i plan to run over with my truck, what a crap speaker..) anyway... has anyone done anything in a PR, but with reverb? i have seen bob has done a non reverb one?

OR, i have a old princeton reverb with 50watt traynor iron in it that i could use... either way:)

You have to go to the Kinko's that prints outdoor signs. The faceplate is just an outdoor sign to them. The Kinko's I use likes the source in Adobe Illustrator format or a .svg file (I use visio but save it to .svg for them). If you use any special fonts include them on your source disk. Find out the width of their vinyl stock (usually something over 17") and make sure to have them fill up the width with extra front and rear panels. Make sure they make it peel off adhesive and they auto trim each panel.
