Who has "best" Fender kits?

I am planning to do a classic Fender build soon and thinking about ordering a complete kit from Mojo.

I bought one of their small head cabs for a 2204 that I built and I thought the cabinet was well done.

Just like to hear from those of you with any experience with Mojo kits - in particular for Fender circuits.

I know CeriaTone offers a number of classic Fender models and I'd guess the quality to be comparable to the 2204 kit that I got from them (which I thought was pretty good).

My sense of Mojo from what I have seen is that they are probably going a little cheap on some of the small components - but probably produce a decent sounding amp.

Any thumbs up or down for Mojo?

Are there any "premium" kit suppliers for classic Fender circuits, or would I have to source parts from a BOM???

Most interested in a Blackface Deluxe (if that detail makes a difference).

You might want to check out Allen Amps (http://allenamps.com). The Accomplice is based on the Deluxe Reverb, but without the vibrato channel. The PT can handle 6L6's, as well as 6V6's.

Mojo kits are great - especially if you upgrade them a little and use the original Fender documentation.

they come with no instructions whatever - but if you know what you are doing, you can build a fabulous amp that will last you a lifetime. If you need instructions maybe order the Mojo kit from Marsh

mojo/marsh are good if you update a little and pay little atttention to the instrictions

I got a schematic and layout with Mojo?

Even with there small parts kit they sent the schematic and layout.

But it was the Marshall kits not Fender kits, maybe they are different.

Didn't know of that one. Given that the Super was not listed, I guess it's worth giving him a call to see if he has a kit for whatever you want.

Of what I have seen, his components, boards, and chassis are top notch.

This is where I'd go. You do have to understand that he doesn't do clones, so it's a single channel take on the two channel Fenders and he's made some changes in the circuitry which you may or may not prefer over the original...easy enough to find the deltas and go back to stock.

No experience with Mojo fender kits per se, but I installed a Mojo Tweed Bassman OT in the Fender RI LTD Bassman for a friend of mine, and it sounds transtastically better than the stock OT it shipped with, if thats anything to go by.

Allen also has a May special right now, and has dropped the price considerably. Hmmm, I'm tempted. The Brown Sugar looks really interesting (clips at the bottom of the page).
