Hey everyone. Wondering about the Vox Tony Bruno series amps, mainly the TB18C1. Sorry in advance if i'm all over the place with questions. got quite a few and my mind just goes haha sorry
I tried the TB35C1 today at a local shop, but they are still waiting for the 18 to come in. Really looking for a 1x12 so i'm not interested in the 35C2. Has anyone tried the 35C1 and the 18C1? Just wondering how they compare in overall tone. For the price difference I really hope the 18 sounds as good as the 35, i don't see why it wouldn't. Really cool features on the 35C1 too.
One thing that puts off from the 18 is the digital reverb. there's nothing really like spring, which the 35's have. Also, the mid boost on the 35 is foot switchable, not on the 18. But for $700 as opposed to $1200, i could look passed that if the 18 sounds as good as the 35.
18 watts, all tube, and 1x12 makes the Vox TB18C1 sound like it'd be the perfect amp for me. I mainly play country, indie folk-rock, switch between guitar and lap steel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I think I'd get a Ceriatone with my choice of iron. You could get a Matchless DC-30 with the original iron. An EF-86 has a lot of charm.
You've got to get a head though.
