What do I need to account for at the treble pot where the divider will be? I wouldn't want this tap to change the output thru on the loop, and I still can't find a webpage called voltage dividers and mixing for idiots.

I have a simple series effects loop that I want to split to a second autonomous jack as a straight send. The send will have an A1M pot for ouput level, unbuffered everything.
What do I need to account for at the treble pot where the divider will be? I wouldn't want this tap to change the output thru on the loop, and I still can't find a webpage called voltage dividers and mixing for idiots.
